What happens in the evening?
There's entertainment in the Pavilion from Saturday - Monday night. Our main concert this year is 'Y Stand' which is a brand new story by Manon Steffan Ros and Osian Huw Williams (Candelas) introducing us to a group of people who happen to sit next to each other in the football stand during home games. We get to know them and learn more about their lives in a wonderful show full of singable songs. This is this year's Eisteddfod choir concert. More information and tickets here. 'Y Stand' is on Saturday and Monday evening at 19:30.
On Sunday evening the Cymanfa Ganu will be held in the Pavilion at 19:30. The Eisteddfod choir will be performing, and this is our chance to welcome the leader of Wales and the World, Maxine Hughes, to the stage. Buy your tickets here.
There are competition nights in the Pavilion every other night, and entry is free with a valid Maes ticket.
Stay on the Maes to enjoy entertainment in various places. Have a look at our programme for details or use the app.
Don't forget about our Maes B gigs - more information and tickets here.

Can I hire a wheelchair or mobility scooter on the Maes?
We're working with Byw Bywyd again this year, and their stall is located next to the main entrance. Although wheelchairs and scooters are available for hire on the day, we strongly recommended that you contact the company in advance for a chat, so ring them on 01286 830 101.
If you’re planning to hire a scooter for the first time this year, contact the company beforehand for advice. If you're not experienced on a scooter, please choose a slow speed when exploring the Maes.
Always be considerate of other visitors when using a scooter around the Maes.
The Byw Bywyd stand is open from 09:00 – 18:00 every day.
You can charge your scooter on the Byw Bywyd stand, even if it's your own scooter.
Click here for information on accessibility on the Maes.
Are there any jobs available on the Maes?
We publish any jobs on the Maes. Please contact the stand / company offering the work rather than us. Have a look on this page to see if there are any opportunities currently available.
Is there translation available on the Maes?
Yes. Cymen offers a service during the week. Go to the translation centre outside the Pavilion to collect your equipment free of charge.
Are there water points on the Maes?
Water points are available throughout the Maes, and are clearly marked on the site map. These are low enough for visitors in wheelchairs and scooters.
Our aim is to encourage visitors to bring reusable water bottles to the Maes, and fill them regularly during their visit.
Do you have a lost property centre?
Yes. Take any lost property to the Eisteddfod Office behind the Pavilion. Lost and uncollected property will be returned to our office in Cardiff and we'll do our best to reunite items with their owners!. There may be a charge for posting some items. If property has not been collected / returned by the end of September, we'll contact local charities.
Can I bring my dog to the Maes?
Yes. Obedient and friendly dogs are welcome as long as they are on a tight lead at all times. Only assistance dogs are allowed into the Pavilion, but other dogs are very welcome around the Maes.
Do you have guided tours this year?
Yes, they leave the main entrance at 11:00 and 14:00 every day. They're great for new visitors and Welsh learners.
Do you have a prayer room this year?
