We offer lots of volunteering opportunities throughout the year, from getting involved at community level, to working with us to shape the future development of the organisation nationally.
Lots of our opportunities take place during Eisteddfod week, and one of our most popular opportunities is stewarding. Our stewards are the backbone of the festival - the first friendly faces visitors see when they arrive at the Maes, ready to offer advice and help if anything comes up. Click on the 'I want to steward' box to read more about the role and to register this year.
Various other volunteering opportunities are available during the week and will be advertised when they arise. Click on the 'I want to help on the Maes' box to see what’s available.
We work on two if not three Eisteddfodau throughout the year and our work locally is guided by committees and teams of volunteers. Would you like to join the team? We’d love to welcome you on-board, whatever your interest. Click on the 'I want to help locally' box for more information. This may take you to opportunities to help during future eisteddfodau rather than this year's event.
We offer full training for everyone, and for the first time this year, our training includes a face-to-face session before the Eisteddfod, and online training modules so you feel completely confident and happy before coming to volunteer with us.
Want an informal chat about the responsibilities and experience during the week or in the community? Contact our volunteering coordinator, Morys Gruffydd.
Thinking of putting your name forward to join our Council or Board of Trustees? Email for more details and a chat.
