A huge charcoal drawing has been added to Oriel Ynys Môn’s collection as a result of awarding the Contemporary Art Society for Wales’ Purchase Prize.

The winner of the Anglesey National Eisteddfod Drama Medal is a teacher from Carmarthenshire.
Alffa has won this year’s Brwydr y Bandiau (Battle of the Bands) competition, following a competition held on the Open Air Stage last night, when six artists and groups performed for the prize.
The Anglesey National Eisteddfod Science and Technology Medal is awarded to Deri Tomos, Llanllechid, Gwynedd, for his lifelong contribution to science through the medium of Welsh.
