Adjudicator: Eleri Twynog
An opportunity for an individual to portray one of Wales' famous characters based on the original performances by 'Mewn Cymeriad' (In Character) company
Conditions:
- The emphasis should be on creating a light-hearted performance, which demonstrates the individual's ability to interact easily with the audience and communicate the story clearly;
- The maximum length of the performance is 5 minutes, narrated on a choice of two scripts (Owain Glyndŵr or Cranogwen);
- Costumes and props are allowed;
- Competing in two local eisteddfodau between May 2023 and the end of April 2024 will give you the right to compete at the National Eisteddfod;
- The national winner will receive an invitation to join 'Mewn Cymeriad' company in due course for a hands-on workshop to further develop their skills.
