Adjudicators: Antwn Owen-Hicks & Bethan Williams Jones
The competition is a partnership between the National Eisteddfod of Wales (Tŷ Gwerin), and the BBC and is an attempt to discover new Welsh folk music talent.
The competition will be open to bands or solo artists performing folk music, and can be instrumental, vocal or a combination of both.
Folk is defined as traditional Welsh songs and tunes or new songs in the folk style.
Prize: £600 (Drive, yn falch o gefnogi'r Eisteddfod yn Rhondda Cynon Taf)
