Adjudicators: David Kempster & Elin Manahan Thomas
The adjudication panel will choose four competitors across the categories in the vocal solo competitions over 25 years old to compete on the pavilion stage.
(a) Solo (Section A)
(b) Own choice of a solo by a Welsh composer excluding the songs sung in Section B of the solo competitions for those 25 years of age and over
The winner will be invited to perform in Australia during the St David’s Day celebrations at the Melbourne Welsh Church.
The winner will also receive £200 in memory of Aeron Gwyn.
Prize: David Ellis Memorial Medal (Cronfa Goffa Richie Thomas, enillydd y wobr yn 1953), £500 Twm Dwynant Scholarship and £200 (Sian Griffiths, Emyr Gruffydd ac Iwan Gruffydd, er cof am Cledwyn a Rhianydd Parry, Penygraig.)
