Adjudicators: Julian Wilkins, Katie Thomas & Lyn Davies
An entertaining own choice programme, up to 12 minutes long, of choral arrangements in the following styles: pop, rock, musical theatre, jazz, gospel and/or hymn, folk and/or light Welsh songs. No choir is allowed to re-sing a song in another category during the Festival.
Prizes:
- Cwpan Y Cymro to be held for a year, and The Ann Dwynant Medal to be held for a year will be presented to the conductor of the winning choir and £750 (Penri Williams, rhodd gan y teulu er cof am Carol Williams, Hendre, Pentyrch)
- £500 (Côr Philharmonic Caerdydd, i nodi bod y côr wedi cychwyn fel Côr Eisteddfod Caerdydd, 1978, wrth i’r côr ddod i ben)
- £300 (Owen Saer, Cwmni Glanhau Time For You, Caerdydd)
