Traditional dress not required. The parties are encouraged to use live music where possible.
Competition to encourage new groups, with dancers who have not competed in the National Eisteddfod’s main folk dancing competitions. Experienced dancers allowed but most of the dancers must be new. Support from Welsh Folk Dance Society members available when preparing for the competition by emailing ysgrifennydd@dawnsio.cymru.
