1. Stage
    • No competitor can compete more than once in the same competition;
    • Competiorrs are expected to bring their own accompanist/accompaniment;
    • All parties are asked to upload a stage layout with location and any technical requierments and/or soundtracks (in MP3 format) before 15 June. [See 'Performing Copyright' rule in General Rules and Conditions] . Any music used should have Welsh words or have no words at all.
    • The stage must be prepared and cleared within the stipulated time.
  2. Stage size: contact cystadlu@eisteddfod.cymru for accurate stage plan and measuremnets
  3. Copyright: It is the responsibility of parties, groups or individuals to secure the copyright of any self-selected pieces. This must be noted when registering. Further guidance and instructions can be found in the 'Competition' section of the Eisteddfod website. A copy of any pieces should be uploaded by 15 June.
  4. Contemporary, Disco & Street Hip Hop etc:
    • The performances are judged on the basis of creative nature, compositional elements and choreography and the dance forms creadted;
    • Competitors will be asked to upload a summary of the any introductorary notes to be orally presented, along with the title and composer of the music by 15 June;
    • No special lighting, sets or any other production equipment will be allowed for the competitions.. The use of minor furniture, which is portable by the individuals who will use them, is permitted.
    • Competitors are expected to choose a simple costume(s) that will not interfere with their movements on stage.
