The roof of the Folk House with small lights bright, and a band playing in the evening

So come along to our attractive yurt for a packed programme of folk activities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Don't expect a programme hankering back to the past – we love to take a new and modern look at our most indigenous traditions, using the past to shape a vibrant and energetic scene looking confidently to the future.

Come and enjoy the best bands and performers of the folk scene throughout the week - with the last slot of the night sure to attract a huge audience. Our programme is a perfect blend of the traditional and the new, a platform for artists who perform all over the world, as well as those who travel Wales.

Don't miss Brwydr y Bandiau Gwerin (Battle of the Folk Bands) - Wales' new talents get a chance to perform in a competition jointly organised by the Eisteddfod and the BBC, and remember to come along on Friday night for the Twmpdaith - social folk dancing – with everyone welcome to join in!
