We have written to you to ask for your support with the traffic plans during the festival. Our aim is to try to ensure that we help traffic runs as freely as possible during the festival, without causing any additional issues or problems for local residents.

We realise that Pontypridd is busy at the best of times, and we’ve been working closely with the County Council and the emergency services to create a traffic management plan, which includes some changes to the area and local parking arrangements during festival week itself. As partners, we thank you in advance for your willing cooperation to ensure that everything runs smoothly for everyone throughout the period.

Parking restrictions will be introduced in parts of the town over the festival, coming into force on Thursday 1 August. One of the locations affected in Berw Road, where it is proposed to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Stopping Restriction between White Bridge and the railway overbridge to the north.  These measures will prohibit vehicles from stopping and / or parking along this section of Berw Road at any time until Sunday 11 August.

We are aware that this restriction will impact residents living on Berw Road, and have organised alternative parking provision on the festival caravan site for up to two cars from properties 106-128 Berw Road. You’ll need an official car pass to access the caravan site, so please complete the form below so we can send you your passes via email.

The Council will be monitoring the restrictions during the week, and where necessary it may, in consultation with partner agencies, alter the restrictions as required to keep everyone safe and the traffic moving.

We've also created a safe and purposeful designated cycle and walking path, and the residents of our caravan park and Maes B will use it to travel to and from the Maes during the week.

Please complete the first part of the form, then press 'next' and then press 'submit'. Thank you for your cooperation.
