Rhys Dafis is from west Wales but now lives in Cardiff. He released his First single, ‘Eli Haul’, at the end of 2022.
After gigging solo occasionally for a few years, he now performs his folk rock songs with a band of talented musicians. He has played in such exotic locations as Carmarthen, Newport and Dinas Mawddwy. His songs are permeated with a sense of nostalgia, and explore themes such as longing, alienation, mental health, and the internal conflict involved in belonging to a minority culture.
