It’s not unusual for a group of friends to get together, pick up their instruments and jam a few songs. What makes CATSGAM unusual, if not unique, is that twenty seven years, fivr albums and countless live performances later, the band is still gigging – and still friends!
Formed in 1997, the five piece from South East Wales quickly established their own distinctive style of guitar-based melodic rock built around Rhys Harries’s powerful songwriting and the instantly recognisable vocals of Catrin Brooks.
Four albums of original material were recorded on the “Fflach” label leading to the release of “Sgam” – the 21st anniversary collection, in October 2018.
