The competitors will be expected to accompany a piece for an orchestral instrument provided in advance. The second piece wil be a set piece:
- Piece for orchestral instrument of around 5 mins shosen by the instrumentalist (copy provided in advance).
- Vocal set piece chosen by the soloist (copy provided on the day)
Competitors will be given 20 minutes to familiarise themselves with the pieces and with the vocalists/instrumentalis before the competition
