In 2026 Plas Mwynwyr y Rhos - Y Stiwt - will celebrate 100 years as the artistic, cultural and political heart of the unique community of Rhosllannerchrugog. This special building was built with the miners' contributions from their meager wages in the 1920s, and was re-opened in its new form through a campaign by the community in 1997. It is a center that stages theatrical and musical performances from all over Wales and beyond, as well as hosting an array of community events.
Join us to remember the past, to enjoy the talents of the present and to contribute to celebrating the future of this iconic building which has been a stronghold of the Welsh language on the border for a century.
