The Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod Science and Technology Medal is awarded to Guto Roberts, Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff, for his lifelong contribution to science through the medium of Welsh.
Hefin Robinson, originally from Carmarthen has won the Drama Medal at this year’s National Eisteddfod.
The first winner of the Alun Sbardun Huws Trophy is Llywelyn Elidyr Glyn from Llanllyfni, Caernarfon.
Chroma has won this year’s Battle of the Bands, following a competition held on the Open Air Stage last night, when six artists and groups performed for the prize.
This year’s Welsh Learner of the Year is Hannah Roberts from Brynmawr.

Eurig Salisbury wins the Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod Prose Medal in a competition which attracted fourteen competitors.
The Eisteddfod crowd will be able to show their support for the Welsh football team following their success at the recent Euros competition today, as Osian Roberts and Ian Gwyn Hughes are welcomed to the Pavilion stage this afternoon.
