Band on a big stage and audience watching at night with bright lights

Starting early and finishing late – it’s by far the most popular place on the Maes.

Over 10,000 people watched Bwncath and Candelas at the beginning and end of last year's Llŷn and Eifionydd Eisteddfod!

As night falls, Wales' biggest bands and artists perform, but there’s also room for all kinds of local performers on the Llwyfan.

Each day begins with a performance by a choir and brass band from the Eisteddfod area, followed by local or new bands.

There’s an unique atmosphere at Llwyfan y Maes, with a friendly mix of families and people of all ages enjoying the music and a chance to socialise in the sun.

This is our language’s biggest stages, with a coveted slot on the programme a thrill for every band and performer.

Don't miss Dafydd Iwan on Saturday 3 August at 21:00 - with a special guest star yet to be announced. Come along and enjoy!
