Modern Folk - drums,bass, keyboards and accordion, harp, guitars and bouzouki. Paid Gofyn are quickly earning a reputation for themselves not only in Wales but also internationally, having toured Ireland twice in 2023 and 2024. Bob Cae'r Mynydd was their first album released in 2024 as well as an EP. In 2025 currently the band have released 5 singles, Dagrau, Y Derwydd Mawr and Bara a Chaws recounting the events of Dic Penderyn and the Merthyr riots in 1831. The band were also proud to release 2 singles in Welsh and English called WRECSAM in 2024. The singles have proved very popular and are played at all the home games of Wrexham AFC.
