David Ellis Memorial Prize – The Blue Riband
The Blue Riband Prize for those 25 years of age and older
The adjudication panel will choose four competitors across the categories in the vocal solo competitions over 25 years old to compete on the pavilion stage.
- The song choice from Section A
- Own choice of a solo by a Welsh composer excluding the songs sung in Section B of the solo competitions for those 25 year of age and older
The winner will receive a prize of £300 donated from the Memorial Fund of the late Aeron Gwyn, a past winner of the David Ellis Memorial Prize in 2005. A special invitation is extended to the winner as well to perform at Melbourne's Welsh Church St David's Day celebrations in 2026.
