CADOG" are two brothers, Morus and Iestyn Jones, who play Acoustic guitar and Saxaphone. This unusual instrumentation for a Welsh Folk band offers new energy suggesting a more Pop/Blues and Jazz feeling naturally through the instrumentation. "CADOG" is an "Alternative Folk" band formed in early 2024 before going on to win the Battle of the Folk Bands 2024 competition at the Rhondda Cynon Taf National Eisteddfod, Pontypridd. Since then the band has been performing all over South Wales together including supporting Gwilym Bowen Rhys on his album Tour in collaboration with PYST and Mentrau Iaith Cymru at the beginning of February this year.
