Andy Hickie has many musical strings to his bow. As a solo singer his focus is on traditional folk songs with Welsh language and Irish roots combined with his own compositions. Hosting folk clubs and acoustic nights in and around the Wrexham area for the last 16 years Andy has truly earned his Wrexham legend stripes. Just a few of Andy’s achievements include playing Glastonbury Festival with his band of ‘Merry Maidens’. Coordinating the collaboration project PAPERHOUSE, leading the psychedelic duo Cosmic Dog Fog on their journey through space playing alongside his idol Gruff Rhys and flying to Canada for the Breakout West Festival.
