Llwyfan y Maes
Ynys, the musical project of Dylan Hughes, formerly of Race Horses and Radio Luxembourg, is a quintet that combines harmonies over a magical soundtrack of 70s string machines, 80s synths and fuzz guitar.
The band released their first album in 2022 on Libertino Records full of rich songs of fragile and melancholic psychedelic pop.
Ynys' songs were tracks of the week on BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Wales and Amazing Radio, and the band has played live sessions for Marc Riley's program on BBC 6 Music.
Ynys' first album was shortlisted for the Welsh Music Award 2023, and their second album will be out in July 2024
