Prize: Tlws Dysgwr y Flwyddyn (Menter Iaith Rhondda Cynon Taf) and £300 (Lowri Jones and Rhuanedd Richards, to thank their parents for learning Welsh as adults, and to thank everyone else who has learnt the language, or to ensure that their children are given Welsh language education even though they do not speak Welsh themselves) for the winner; a trophy (Menna Davies, in memory of her father, Meirion Lewis, former headteacher of Ysgol Gymraeg Ynys-wen, her mother, Clarice Lewis and sister, Mair) and £100 each for all finalists (£300 Lowri Jones and Rhuanedd Richards)

A year’s subscription to Golwg for the four finalists, as well as gifts from Mwrched y Wawr.

The winner will be invited to join Gorsedd Cymru and the Eisteddfod’s Learners’ Panel
