Gwenno Morgan curates a candlelight concert with four young musicians; Llinos Haf Jones, Glesni Rhys Jones, Talulah and Cerys Hafana, all under the age of 27 to pay tribute to the local musical icon.
Morfydd Llwyn Owen was born in 1891 in Treforest, Pontypridd. A versatile musician she had a special talent as a composer across many musical styles. Morfydd died 3 weeks before her 27th birthday leaving 250 musical works that continue to influence Welsh music.
