The Muni

Meinir Wyn Roberts, Lisa Dafydd, Eleri Owen Edwards, Ceri Haf Roberts, Dafydd Wyn Jones, Steffan Prys Roberts, Aled Edwards and John Ieuan Jones perform Fauré's famous Requiem (translation by Stephen J Williams), conducted by Nia Llewelyn Jones with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales' string quintet.

This year is the centenary of the death of the famous French composer, Gabriel Fauré, who spent periods visiting Llandow Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan during his last years, in the company of Henry Ebsworths and his daughter, Elsie Swinton.

Join us to mark the centenary with eight former winners of the Eisteddfod's main vocal competitions, in the atmospheric Muni centre in the heart of Pontypridd, with some of Fauré's pieces and songs as a prelude to the Requiem itself.
