The Senedd’s Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee is interested to know more about the experiences people have of using Welsh in the valleys. What are the challenges of using Cymraeg in these areas, and what are the opportunities it presents? How easy is it to learn and use Cymraeg in these areas?
This is part of a broader piece of work we’re undertaking looking at opportunities and challenges of promoting and developing the Welsh language in areas with a lower density of Welsh speakers.
Eisteddfod-goers are encouraged to pop by and meet Members of the Committee to discuss their views and opinion on using the Welsh language in the south Wales valleys.
