May be an entirely new idea or device or a solution to an existing problem in any field. Applications of no longer than 1,000 words outlining the idea. The use of various tables, diagrams and pictures is welcome. It can be work that has already been accomplished or a new concept.
Prize: £1,000 (to be divided as desired by the adjudicator, with a minimum of £500 for the winner) and £1,000 (Beryl Wyn Williams)
