How to get to the caravan site from different directions

Getting to the site

Pontypridd is a busy town at best, and traffic can be a problem on a normal day. We want to ensure that we don't add to the problem, and that our visitors don’t have problems travelling with their caravans.

Please follow these instructions, and do please avoid the town centre during busy periods. We’re asking caravanners to aim to get to Pontypridd between 18:30 and 20:30 on Thursday or Friday evening, between 10:00 and 15:30 on Friday, or from 08:00 - 20:30 on Saturday.

Our team will be available to 'place' caravans during the usual hours, but we urge people to get the during the quieter periods stated above.

Proceed along Bridge Street, over the bridge before turning right on to B4273 (Berw Road). Continue northbound on Berw Road until you reach the entrance to the site, which will be sign-posted from the road.

Disabled visitors on the maes carafanau

We have designated disabled toilets and showers on the site.

Please let us know on the form below if you have mobility needs or a blue badge, so we can contact you with more information about help and support when going back and forth to the Maes during the day and at night.

Those who register in advance will be able to use our special transport service between the Maes and the maes carafanau.

If you use a wheelchair or have severe mobility needs, you can also use your car to travel to St Catherine's car park which is close to the Maes and return to the site at the end of the day.

Maes B

Maes B is located close to the maes carafanau this year, making it easy and safe for young people staying on the site to return there at the end of the night.

We are aware and appreciate that this is important to parents, especially those whose children are visiting Maes B for the first time, and realise that most of the young people staying in Maes B this year may not know the Pontypridd area very well.
