The National Eisteddfod's Science and Technology Medal celebrates its twenty-first anniversary in 2025, and continues to be one of the leading Welsh language honours presented to an individual working in science and technology.
The Medal is presented at a special ceremony on the Eisteddfod Maes in Wrecsam in August 2025, and is presented in memory of JDR and Gwyneth Thomas, by Gaenor, Lynne, Bethan and their families, affectionately remembering JDR Thomas’s contribution to the field of selective electrodes.
