We praise You, O God,
for every noble art,
for beauty in form and image,
for every sweetness of sound:
You who purify our longing,
bless the craft of those who create.
We praise You, O God,
for our ancient heritage,
for the virtue of civilised life
and for the treasures of literature:
You who purify our longing,
bless the craft of those who create.
We praise You, O God,
for roots that give us life
and for good fellowship
that inspires us to glorify You:
You who purify our longing,
bless the craft of those who create.
