The adjudication panel will choose the three most promising individuals from across the 19 and under 25 solo categories to perfom:

  1. The Section A song choice;
  2. Own choice of a solo by a Welsh composer excluding the songs sung in Section B of the solo competitions aged 19 and under 25 years old.

The following Scholarships will also be offered for soloists competing in the 19 and under 25 vocal categories

  • (£1000) William Park-Jones Scholarship to the most promising soloist;
  • (£220) Violet Mary Lewis memorial prize presented by her son, Dr Cyril David Jones, Michigan, and daughter, Phyllis Marie Jones-Gaide, Florida to the most promising soprano between 19 and under 25 years old.
  • (£160) David Lloyd memorial fund | (£60) Jean Skidmore, Aberdyfi memorial fund to the most promising tenor between 19 and under 25 years old.

The winner will also be invited by the North America Wales Festival (NAWF) to peroform at their annual Labor Day celebration event in early September 2026 held in Springfield, Massachusetts

Prize: The winner will be awarded the following Scholarships: (£2000) William Park-Jones Scholarship | (£500) Côr Meibion Cymry Llundain Scholarship & £300
