Gai Toms is a singer-songwriter from Bro Festiniog, Gwynedd. A prolific creative force with Welsh bands such as Anweledig, Mim Twm Llai and Brython Shag, now a solo artist in his own right, backed by his band ‘Yr Atoms’. His work is mainly sung in native tongue, lyrically charged and genre expansive. His latest album ‘Baiaia!’ (2023) is a neo wave affair with alt-country/pop vibes. An exploration of our subconscious superheroes and villains. Gai Toms (Gareth J Thomas) has been awarded and accoladed over the years within the Welsh scene, the latest being a Special Contribution to Welsh Music Award by Y Selar (Welsh language Music magazine)
