A concert featuring piano music by contemporary Welsh composers. The concert will feature the first public performance of four new pieces by Brian Hughes in addition to the piece 'The time of the singing birds' by Rhian Samuel and works by Richard Elfyn Jones and Geraint Lewis. Llŷr Williams is one of Wales' foremost musicians and has given performances in many of the world's finest concert halls including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire. Celebrated as an interpreter of Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann and Brahms, this event will showcase his passion for contemporary classical music
