Tŷ Gwerin
Folk music is in the blood of Elin and Carys, sisters from Montgomeryshire with their father being part of the well-known Welsh folk band Plethyn. Since reaching the final round of the Battle of the Folk Bands at the Eisteddfod last year they have played gigs all over Wales, performing original songs alongside new arrangements of traditional folk songs. With their many instruments in hand they bring a mixture of heartfelt ballads and stirring melodies, singing together, intuitively in harmony.
