Llwyfan y Maes
Founded in 1974 with the aim of promoting the Welsh language in and around Pontypridd, Côr Godre'r Garth is a mixed choir with around 50 members and hold our rehearsals in the village of Efail Isaf every Sunday evening.
They enjoy competing and performing and have toured widely over the years. Their repertoire is varied and includes traditional Welsh folksongs, standard classical works and contemporary and popular music. 2024 is a very significant year for them, not only because the National Eisteddfod is being held in the area, but also as they're celebrating the 50th anniversary of the choir's formation with a full programme of concerts and events
