The adjudication panel will choose the three most promising individuals from across the 19 and under 25 solo categories to compete for the prize. To perform two songs:
(a) their solo from Section A
(b) Own choice by a Welsh composer excluding works by composers listed in Section B in the 19 and under 25 solo competitions
Prize: Gwobr Cronfa Goffa Violet Mary Lewis: £220 gifted by her son, Dr Cyril David Jones, Michigan, UDA, and her daughter Phyllis Marie Jones-Gaide, Florida, UDA, to the stand-out soprano within this competition. £160 David Lloyd Memorial Fund | £60 from the Jean Skidmore, Aberdyfi Memorial Fund to the stand-out tenor within this competition. The winner will receive an invitation from the Wales North America Foundation to perform at the NAWF (North America Wales Festival ) in late August / early September 2025., £2000 William Park-Jones Scholarship for the Osborne Roberts Memorial Prizewinner; £1000 William Park-Jones Scholarship to the most promising soloist; £500 Côr Meibion Cymry Llundain Scholarship to the winner of the Osborne Roberts Memorial Prize & £150 (er cof am Rowena Williams (Pwllheli) a aned yn Abercynon yn 1927)
