The Rt. Revd. and Rt. Hon. Dr Rowan Williams FLSW delivers the Learned Society of Wales lecture about the process and findings of the Independent Commission on the Constitutional Future of Wales, which he chaired alongside Professor Laura McAllister.
The final report has been published and concludes that independence, a federal system and enhancing devolution are all viable options for Wales’ future. It also recommends further powers are needed urgent in specific areas of justice, policing and rail infrastructure, to meet the needs of people in Wales.
