How can I get a ticket for the Eisteddfod?

When does the Maes open and close?

The Maes is open from 08:00 and there's no entry after 21:00, even if you have a ticket. If you want to visit during the evenings, make sure you arrive before 21:00. 

Are there any free tickets for personal assistants?

Tickets are free for personal assistants. If you have a personal assistant or if you come with a visitor that needs support, remember to bring evidence to the Maes in order to claim your free ticket. We accept the following: 

  • Front page of disability living allowance / Personal independence payment (no fixed rate)
  • Front page of attendance allowance letter (no fixed rate)
  • Evidence of registration with severe visual impairment (blind)
  • A recognised ID card for assistance dogs
  • CredAbility access card

You can purchase personal assistant tickets online before arrival.

I have a disability - is the ticket office accessible?

Yes, the ticket office at y Maes is accessible. We have some low windows, which are appropriate for people in wheelchairs. We also have a "loop" system in order to support people who use hearing devices, which will help you while purchasing tickets. 

You can purchase tickets at the main entrance or online before arrival.

Adult (19-65) - £23 (first wave £21)

Pensioner (66+) £22 (first wave £19)

Young Person (16-18) £18 (first wave £16)

Child (5-15) - £12 (first wave £10)

Children under 5 - Free

Family: 1 Adult, 2 Children - £35 (first wave £30)

Family: 2 Adult, 2 Children - £58 (first wave £50)

When does the earlybird offer end?

Earlybird tickets are on sale from  3 March until 30 June. After this period you can buy a full price ticket online or on the doors during the week of the Eisteddfod. 

I'm staying in Maes B. Can I use my ticket to come to the Maes?

Yes you can - our young people ticket is a bargain as it grants you access to the Maes, Maes B and the gigs for the price of a camping ticket. Maes B tickets grants you access to the Maes from Tuesday onwards. 

Can I visit Maes B with a regular admission ticket?

No, you'll have to purchase tickets separately to visit Maes B (if you don't already have a full Maes B ticket).
