The Eisteddfod Proclamation is Gorsedd Cymru's first ceremony in the Eisteddfod calendar.
It celebrates that the Eisteddfod is on its way and is a chance for the Chair of the Executive Committee to present a copy of the List of Competitions to the Archdruid - and then, the competitions are available for everyone to enter!
The 2026 National Eisteddfod (Eisteddfod Genedlaethol y Garreg Las) will be held in Llantood in August 2026, and the Proclamation will be held in Narberth on Saturday 17 May 2025.
The Gorsedd, together with a large number of local groups, organisations and schools will be leading a procession before the traditional ceremony.
We need to recruit a group of at least 20 volunteers to help us with the procession on the day. Can you help?

Eisteddfod Llandudoch is also held on Saturday 17 May, and events in Narberth will be completed in time for everyone to travel to St Dogmaels to support the local eisteddfod.
