Science and Technology Medal

 
Wales may be better known as the Land of Song, but the contribution by Welsh individuals and organizations to the scientific and technological world is equally remarkable.
 
This Medal is an attempt to honor those individuals who have made an impression in the world of Science and Technology through the medium of Welsh.
 
The Science and Technology Medal was introduced in 2004, and is presented annually to a worthy individual for merit.
 
The Medal will be presented at a special ceremony on the stage of the Eisteddfod Pavilion during the Ceredigion National Eisteddfod from 1-8 August 2020.

Guidelines

1.The Medal is awarded to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the use of Welsh in the Science and / or Technology world

2.The form must include up to date information on the nominee

3.The Medal is subject to these General Rules and Conditions and to the Special Conditions.

The list of special conditions can be found in the list of competitions.

When completing the form, nominees should clearly explain why the person concerned deserves consideration for receiving the Science Medal. Please note that the Panel considering the nominations will not necessarily know the individuals involved, and therefore decisions will be made on the basis of the information presented on the nomination forms. Please do not send supplementary material: only the information on the nomination form will be considered by the Panel.
