If you’re still thinking about competing at this year’s National Eisteddfod in Conwy County, there’s only a few days left to organise your entry and complete the process.
All entries for this year’s stage competitions must be registered and completed by 1 May.
Eisteddfod Organiser, Elen Elis, said, “Just a timely reminder that there’s only days to go before the closing date, and to encourage would-be competitors to get involved in this year’s festival. Remember, if you’ve started the registration process online, you’ll have to complete your form by the closing date as we will not be able to consider any entries which have not been completed by then.
“Competing at the National Eisteddfod is a unique experience, whether you’re an individual or part of a larger group or choir, and we are keen to see as many people as possible taking part this year and competing in the various activities chosen by our team of local volunteers.
“Following the closing date we’ll be creating the stage programme, in the hope we’ll have a good number of competitors across the board, so we can have a competitive festival to remember this year.”
The Conwy County National Eisteddfod is held from 3-10 August this year. For more information, to compete and to buy tickets (from 1 May) go online, www.eisteddfod.wales.
