Road Closures and Public Transport
To enable the Eisteddfod to take place in the Bay, the following road closures have been agreed with Cardiff Council to ensure the safety of workers and the general public during the set up, the Eisteddfod itself, and the derig. THE ROAD CLOSURES WILL NOT AFFECT PEDESTRIANS OR CYCLISTS.
The transport plan allows service access to WMC, Craft in the Bay, premises on Britannia Quay, Waterguard Pub, Lock Keepers Café and Y Senedd, etc.

(Update 27/07: Cardiff Council are happy to confirm that Cardiff Bus have agreed to trial the BayCar no. 6 bus servicing the bus stops on Pierhead St adjacent to the Coop by Falcon Drive during the road closures for the Eisteddfod. We are hopeful that this will prove to be successful and will mean that throughout the whole closure period there will be buses servicing this area of the Bay.)
