Do you know someone who’s volunteered to help young people for many years somewhere in Wales?
Would you like to nominate someone who’s made a real difference to people’s lives locally? Are you keen to see someone honoured on the Pavilion stage at the National Eisteddfod for their community work?
You may well know someone who should be nominated for the Sir Thomas Parry-Williams Memorial Medal at the National Eisteddfod. Nominations are open, and all information needs to be returned by the end of the month.
Sir TH Parry-Williams was a great supporter of the National Eisteddfod, and in August 1975, following his death a few months earlier, a trust was set up to celebrate his invaluable contribution to Eisteddfod activities. The fund is administered by the Sir Thomas Parry-Williams Trust.
If you’d like to nominate someone for the 2017 Sir Thomas Parry-Williams Medal, you can complete the nomination form online for the first time, eisteddfod.cymru/medal-thpw and you can download the paper version of the form from the website as well, or ring us on 0845 4090 900 if you’d like a copy in the post.
The closing date for nominations is 31 January, and the Medal will be presented at a special ceremony on the Pavilion stage at the Anglesey National Eisteddfod, held from 4-12 August. The winner's name will be announced in April.
