Information on arrangements when reaching the Maes

27 July 2017

Remember to leave more time than usual when arriving on the Maes this year as we'll be conducting random bag searches in the main entrance.

Help us to make sure the process is as quick and easy as possible by making sure you do not attempt to bring one of the following prohibited items onto the Maes.

By doing this, we can keep the crowd moving as smoothly as possible through the entrance and the Visitors' Centre.

If you are competing, you must ensure you have plenty of time to get to your preliminary or to the backstage area, so please be aware that you may be held up in the main entrance.

  • NO bags larger than a standard backpack*
  • NO alcohol
  • NO glass or cans
