Geilw Cymru ei lluoedd

i goroni’r Gwir ar goedd.

Gorau addurn gwareiddiad

yw bri cerdd nid gwobrau cad;

cerdd dafod nid clod y cledd,

hyn erioed ein hanrhydedd.

Wedi’n holl golledion hen

ein hadfywiad fu awen;

bu inni’n arf rhag darfod,

awen beirdd yn dweud ein bod,

yn rhoi i ing eiriau angerdd,

cyfuno’n cof yn ein cerdd.

Ti eleni’r olyniaeth,

ti yw’r un oedd yng Nghatraeth;

y traddodiad hardd ydwyt,

yr hen ddweud o’r newydd wyt,

a’th hawl i’r olyniaeth hon

ydyw gwir werth dy goron.
