Showing: Coastal Wales on Film

5 August 17 - 9:30, Sinemaes

This selection of films from the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales collection has a sharp tang of sea salt as we drop in on beaches and promenades, harbours and islands for a glimpse of Wales’s coastal life through the 20th century.

From Prestatyn to Penclawdd, from Bardsey to Barmouth, we will see how Welsh waters have sustained fishing, global trading and whole summers of unforgettable holidays – so shake the sand from your sandwiches and join us for a fascinating coastal cruise!

Ages: All ages; produced by The National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, Film Hub Wales, Chapter.
