124. Welsh Learner of the Year
You can nominate yourself or a learner can be nominated by completing the entry form at the bottom of this page or in the ‘Beth Amdani’ booklet.
Every competitor should be over 18 and should be able to speak Welsh quite fluently.
The adjudicators will be looking for information regarding the following:
Prizes:
Welsh Learner of the Year Trophy (Ysgol y Gymraeg, Prifysgol Caerdydd) and £300 (Peter a Gill Griffiths, Pentyrch) for the winner; Trophies for the other three finalists (Ysgol y Gymraeg, Prifysgol Caerdydd) and £100 each (£100 Tony a Nans Couch, Llanisien, Caerdydd);
A year’s subscription to Golwg for those in the final
Donations from Merched y Wawr for the final four are also recognised
The winner will be invited to join the Gorsedd.
