The Cardiff Eisteddfod will be very different to the usual so there will be changes to the usual procedure of booking a stand.
We accepted booking forms for one week only from Thursday, 1 March - 7 March 2018.
The 3m x 6m units are full but we have a number of 3m x 2.5m wooden huts available and you're welcome to make an application for one of these. All the details are in the Information Booklet at the bottom of the page.
You will not be able to choose your exact location this year, but we will be asking you to choose your zone.
We do not require any deposit with the application forms this year.
We will be looking through all the applications after the closing date and try and slot everyone in according to their application. We will then get back to you with what is available to you and ask you to confirm asap if you accept or not. A deposit of 50% will then be required.
The Information Booklet, Application Forms and a draft copy of the Maes siteplan are at the bottom of this page.
Please make some time to read the Information Booklet before completing the application forms.
We will be using a number of permanent buildings in the Bay for our various pavilions including the Donald Gordon Theatre for the Pavilion, The Senedd for Y Lle Celf and the Pierhead building for Shwmae Caerdydd (Maes D), and the outdoor stage will be located in the Roald Dahl Plass.
Tradestands will be located around the Bay from Lloyd George Avenue and down towards the Norwegian Church. As the usual fence will not surround the Maes, it opens the door to a new audience and for tourists and residents of Cardiff who visit the Bay to have a taste of the Eisteddfod, Welsh culture and the many Welsh products that are available. It will be a great shop window for a week!
